What you can do with Zebra Image

    • Compress images

Shrink JPG and WebP photos by choosing the quality. You see the new size and the savings before you download.

    • Resize in bulk

Scale up to 30 images at once by percentage, by their longest side, or to an exact width and height.

    • Convert formats

Turn PNG into JPG, JPG into WebP, or WebP into PNG. Transparent areas are filled with a color you choose when saving as JPG.

    • Private and safe

Images are processed on your device and never uploaded. Hidden metadata such as GPS location is removed from the output.

    Frequently asked questions

    Is Zebra Image free?

Yes. Zebra Image is completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limits on how often you use it.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. All processing happens in your browser, so your photos never leave your device.

How do I make an image file smaller?

Convert it to WebP or JPG and lower the quality to around 70–80%. Reducing the dimensions with Max side also makes the file much smaller.

    Which format should I choose?

WebP gives the smallest files for websites. JPG works everywhere and suits photos. PNG is lossless and keeps transparency, but files are larger.

    Does it keep transparency?

PNG and WebP keep transparent areas. JPG cannot store transparency, so transparent areas are filled with the background color you pick.

Can I convert HEIC photos from an iPhone?

Not yet. Most browsers cannot read HEIC files. On iPhone you can set the camera to “Most Compatible” to save photos as JPG.
